The Sustainable Communities Project has focused on addressing environmental challenges in the Pearl River Delta region, such as water pollution prevention and mitigation in the Pearl River Basin to climate change. Through mobilizing the local community, establishing networks on environmental issues, and constructing pilot community actions, as well as developing action plans for various environmental changes through research and pilot initiatives, the project aims to increase the participation of residents in building resilient communities.
This programme conducts regional and community impact assessments of climate change in the PRD region explores community action plans to address climate change, and promote public awareness and capacity building on climate change.了解更多
